PURPOSE:To mix liquids having different specific gravities with each other in a fine micron order particle condition within a short time, by a method wherein a porous fixed partition wall is provided to a cylindrical container and counterflow streams are directed toward both sides of said wall. CONSTITUTION:A desired number of porous fixed partition walls are provided to a cylindrical container 5 and porous rotary vanes 2 generating counterflow streams directed toward said walls 2 in both sides of the fixed partition walls 2 are installed. When two kinds or more of a light liquid and a heavy liquid having different specific gravities with each other such as a water and an oil are introduced into said container from a entry port, both liquids are directed toward the fixed partition walls 2 by the rotary vanes 2 to be stirred and mixed by impingement with the partition walls 2 and mutual impingement of counterflow streams. At the same time, rotary components generated along with the counterflow streams due to the rotary vanes 2 are cancelled each other out to prevent centrifugal separation. As described above, shearing and impingement are repeated to generate fine pulverization in micron order and a complete mixed condition is obtained. |
