PURPOSE:To simplify a process for the following treatment of night soil, by adding a phosphate, and ammonium, Ca and Mg salts to a fraction obtd. by the vacuum distillation of raw night soil after being pretreated, and then adding water in which seed bacteria are living to said fraction to purify it. CONSTITUTION:Raw night soil after being subjected to pretreatment such as crushing and pH adjustment is separated into a fraction (separated water) and conc. leftovers (conc. night soil) by vacuum distillation. Thereafter, a phosphate, ammonium, calcium and magnesium salts, and optionally the mixture of a borate with a metal or aluminum salt are added in ppb order to said fraction. Then, water in which seed bacteria are living is added to the fraction, and aeration with air is performed at a temp. of 10-35 deg.C to purify the fraction. On the other hand, the conc. leftovers are kneaded with quick lime. Hence, residual water in the conc. leftovers is evaporated by the heat of the hydration of said quick lime, to change the conc. leftovers into powdery matter. |
