PURPOSE:To take a recording test of an optional picture by receiving a picture signal from a facsimile equipment and storing this picture signal, and sending the stored picture signal to a facsimile equipment to be tested and recording it. CONSTITUTION:A normal facsimile FAX equipment is connected to an input part 1, and an optional original is mounted on this FAX equipment to hold transmission in readiness. An operation part 5 commands an input/output control part 4 to store the picture signal received by an input part 1 in a storage part 2, and the picture signal and original number of the original are stored in the storage part 6 under the control of the control part 4. When the storage of the picture signal of the original necessary for the recording test is completed, an FAX equipment to be tested is connected to an output part 3 and held in readiness for reception. Then, the operation part 5 commands the control part 4 to read the picture signal corresponding to the specified original number out of the storage part 2 and sent it to the FAX equipment to be tested through the output part 3, recording this picture signal. The recorded picture is checked to judge whether the FAX device to be tested operates normally or not. |
