PURPOSE:To make a shifting device for pallet recovery small-sized and simplify the mechanism by moving a work transporting pallet in the feed direction at the top of two conveyor chains and shifting the pallet at the termination position to a recovery conveyor below. CONSTITUTION:A pallet 11 is mounted astride the upper pallet position at the top of the conveyor chain with a work mounted on it. Under this condition the conveyor chain 9 is moved in the feed direction A. Of course, a rotary plate 28 at the start position takes shelter to a position not disturbing the movement of the pallet 11. When the pallet 11 comes above the rotary plate 28 at the termination position, a driving cylinder 23 moves a rotary member 22 and the rotary plate 28 slightly above the supporting surface of the conveyor chain 9 together with a supporting plate 26, and the rotary plate 28 receives the pallet 11. Next, the rotary member 22 is rotated by 90 deg., and the cylinder 23 lowers the supporting plate 26. Then, the rotary member 22 is again rotated by 90 deg. and lowered, and the pallet 11 is shifted onto a recovery conveyor 13 and moved to the recovery direction. |
