PURPOSE:To prevent the starting of an engine from becoming difficult, by prohibiting the operation of an oil pump in either of the stoppage and starting of the engine in which a battery is not charged. CONSTITUTION:A sensor unit 1 consists of a vehicle speed sensor 100 and a steering angle sensor 120. A controller 2 consisting of a timer 200, a frequency- voltage converter 220 and a comparator 240. A power steering section 5 is driven by a pump 4. A switch 6 is driven by the comparator 240 so that the switch is turned on in the stoppage of a vehicle. Another switch 7 is driven by the timer 200 so that the switch is turned off in the stoppage of the vehicle. A means 80 for stopping the pump 4 in the stoppage of an engine is turned off in the engine stoppage. A means 90 for stopping the pump 4 at the starting of the engine is turned off when an ignition switch is in the starting position. |
