PURPOSE:To reduce the torque variation of the driving roll of a platen belt which is caused by the presence of an original-copy and the size of the original- copy by installing a transparent sheet between the platen belt and a platen glass and allowing the intake-holes on the belt to be closed by the transparent sheet or the original-copy. CONSTITUTION:An original-copy transported from an original-copy transportation part is transported by a pinch-roller 12 and sent between a platen belt 5 and a transparent sheet 13 in an automatic original-copy feeder 1 from an original-copy inlet 1. While, an exhaust blower 7 is driven simultaneously with the start of copying operation, and the transparent sheet 13 is attracted through the manifold 8 of a vacuum box 6 and the intake-hole group of the plate belt 5, and then the intake-hole group is closed. The original-copy supplied from the original-copy inlet 10 is attracted in substitute for the sheet 13 and transported by the driving of the platen belt 5 in the state where the torque variation of the driving roller 4b of the platen belt 5 is reduced. When the original-copy advances to a proper position, the original-copy is exposed to light through the transparent sheet 13, and discharged from an outlet 11. |
