PURPOSE:To obtain a pressure sensor having superior electromagnetic shielding property, sealing performance, durability, light weight and good mass-productivi- ty by using a molding material in which an electroconductive filler is added to a case of an electrostatic capacity-type pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION:A pressure-detecting element 6 whose electric capacity varies according to the pressure is provided in a case through a press plate 8, a square ring 7 and a sealing rubber ring 5. In a pressure sensor in which a printed board equipping a circuit 9 capable of converting the electrostatic capacity of the element 6 to an electrical signal is provided and said signal is fetched by a lead wire 10, a case 12 and a cover 13 for electromagnetic shielding are made by molding an electroconductive plastic material. The cover 13 is sealed by ultrasonic welding. The lead wire 10 can be insert-molded. Therfore, the pressure sensor is obtd., which has superior sealing performance, light weight, good mass- productivity and is especially suitable for air-fuel control or the like of a fuel- injection device for an automobile engine. |
