PURPOSE:To equalize printing densities by eliminating the dispersion of the resistance values of resistors by aligning resistor elements for detecting resistance value and resistor groups for recording in the order of lengths of lead wire on the same base plate in a heat-sensitive thermal head. CONSTITUTION:The quantity of heat for printing is regulated in all by detecting the variation of voltage when resistors 7 for detecting resistance values are electrically energized by a resistance value detecting processor 8 and selecting resistor group for recording by a controller 9, and the density of printing is made constant. Resistors 7, 2'i-2'n on the base plate are concurrently set and lead wires 2b, 2c1-2cn are printed concurrently, so that no dispersion occurs practically on the same base plate and the variation in the resistance values with the lengths of lead wires 2b, 2c1-2cn are valied regularly. Total heat quantity can be smoothly regulated in selecting heating resistor groups 2b, 2c1- 2cn by the controller 9 and the density of printing can thus be made constant all the time. |
