PURPOSE:To make easier the fitting of gears by fixing exactly the gears to the shaft of a motor by providing a groove through which a pin fixed to the shaft of the motor to be connected to the gear is pressed into the hole of the gear. CONSTITUTION:A hollow slit pin 15 is pressed into the shaft 1A of a motor 1, and a gear 2 is inserted along the shaft 1A and fixed. In this case, the pin 15 is matched with a groove 2A provided in the gear 2, the tips of triangular projections 2B provided at several places on the inner surface of the groove 2A are crushed, and the shaft 1A, the pin 15, and the gear 2 are exactly fixed together without play. The other gears of a printer can also be likewise fixed. |
