PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for manual operation in adhesive coating and to automate ferrule attachment fully by providing the folding guide of an adhesive coating part in a free opening/closing state, and providing this guide with a guide hole and a space for the insertion of an adhesive coating nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The tension member folding guide 25 of the adhesive coating device consists of a couple of guide pieces 26 and 26 which are opened and closed freely to left and right, and has the guide hole 28 and the space 30 for inserting the adhesive coating nozzle 29. An end part of a cable sheath 22 is removed in a previous process and an exposed core 24 having tension members 23 folded in an open-umbrella shape is sent and inserted into the guide hole 28; and the members 23 are folded back and the nozzle 29 is moved down toward them to apply an adhesive 31. Then, the guide 25 is released and a ferrule is fitted in the following process. Consequently, manual operation in adhesive coating is eliminated to automate the ferrule attachment fully. |
