A device for sorting and feeding workpieces contains an oscillating body (14) which is mounted in an oscillatory fashion and on which a sorting pot (17) is attached, which pot conveys the workpieces to a delivery point. The floor (23) of the sorting pot (17) has a central opening (24) inside which a supply bunker (25) is arranged whose upper edge (30) projects above the floor (23) by approximately the height of a step. The floor (26) of the supply bunker (25) can be raised with the aid of an electric motor (27), the raising process being controlled by a level control (21). The slow raising of the supply bunker floor (26) leads to the workpieces being treated in a gentle fashion. <IMAGE>
