Name of the invention: surgical repositioning and plating forceps. e chnical problem, principal applicability: In such forceps it must be possible to grip the fractured tubular bone close to the fracture sites with one forceps in each case and to bring it into its physiological position thereby. For healing to take place the bone must then be plated immediately thereafter. Solution: the forceps are designed in such a manner that the plate can be screwed on to the bone without the forceps having to be removed from the bone. This requires that the forceps possess a sufficient recess at one point at the jaws for the plate. Furthermore, the forceps are designed to avoid corners and are adapted such that they can be operated with one hand.
