PURPOSE:To produce a molded item whose main body does not have any sink mark on the surface, by producing molded resin item main body a part of which have projections in specified two steps. CONSTITUTION:For example, in case synthetic resin molded item such as a bumper, radiator grill, etc. for automobiles, in particular, a resin molded item having projected sections 2 on the molded item main body 1 such as reinforcing ribs 2b and bosses 2a for attaching the item to a car body is to be molded, first the molded item main body is produced in a first step. In this first step, a plurality of projections 1a or recessions 1b are provided at positions where projected sections 2 are required. Then in a second step, the molded item main body 1 is placed in an injection molded including a mold for producing the projected sections 2, and after the relevant sections are clamped, a resin compatible with the molded item main body 1 is injected to be molded integrally with the projected sections 2. |
