PURPOSE:To provide the titled recording apparatus which makes it possible to control the thickness of an air layer easily and accurately and which is stable in performance, by providing an air jet nozzle in opposing relation to an ink jet nozzle, and bringing a member having the ink jet nozzle and a member having the air jet nozzle into close contact with each other through a thin wire. CONSTITUTION:An air jet nozzle 1 is provided such as to oppose an ink jet nozzle 4 for jetting out ink. A nozzle plate 3 as a member having the ink jet nozzle 4 and a nozzle plate 2 as a member having the air jet nozzle 1 are brought into close contact with each other such as to sandwich a thin wire 13 therebetween. For example, the nozzle plate 3 is bonded to a body part 15, and then the thin wire 13 is placed on the nozzle plate 3 and is tentatively fixed to a bonding surface 14. Then, the nozzle plate 2 is bonded to the bonding surface 14. The air jet nozzle 1 and the ink jet nozzle 4 are aligned with each other, and with pressure applied, the nozzle plate 2, the thin wire 13 and the nozzle plate 3 are brought into close contact with each other. With this constitution, it is possible to realize a recording apparatus uniform and excellent in dimensional accuracy without the need for machining a spacer. |
