PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a central processing unit by providing a procedure connecting section controlling transmission information, connecting section connected to a required line based on address information and a modulation and demodulation mechanism corresponding to the line and connecting them to the required line based on the indication of the central processing unit. CONSTITUTION:An interface control section 11 matches with the central processing unit 1, decodes information from the central processing unit 1 and separates address information and transmission information. The separated transmission information is inputted to an output control section 12 and the address information is inputted to a communication service control section 14 respectively. The output control section 12 forms a character by a character generating section 13 in case of data information, and inputs image information as it is to a procedure control section 15 in case of the image information. On the other hand, a communication service control section 14 is connected to a circuit of a connecting section 16 corresponding to the input address. When the central processing unit 1 designates a communication line requiring simultaneous transmision, i.e., a facsimile device by an address, the communication line corresponding to the address is connected by the connection section and the simultaneous processing is attained freely. |
