PURPOSE:To prevent jamming and to sort and rearrange ejected originals according to size by switching ejection trays according to the size of an original ejected from the platen of a copying machine provided with an automatic or manual original feeder. CONSTITUTION:When a copy button is pressed while plural originals M of the same size are stacked on an original feed tray 3, a control part outputs a start signal to a CPU, and if an original is left on the platen glass 1a, the orignal is conveyed to an ejection slot and then a necessary original M is sent to take a copy. The CPU decides on the original size from the start to the end of original detection by a paper feed sensor MS1, and an original rearranging member 10 is raised at an angle which corresponds to the original size on the top suface of the copying machine 1 on the basis of the decision result; and originals M after copying are sent and sorted in receiving trays 91-93 according to the size.
