PURPOSE:To obtain a pulse power source low in electric power and easy to control, by such simple circuit constitution that the electrode of an electric dust collector is connected to a DC voltage generating circuit through an inductance and a switching element earthed at one terminal thereof is connected to the output terminal of the circuit. CONSTITUTION:A rectifier bridge 2 comprising a silicon rectifier is connected to the secondary side of a transformer 1 for generating high voltage. The negative output terminal of the rectifier bridge 2 is earthed and positive DC voltage is taken out from the positive output terminal thereof. An electric dust collector 6 consisting of a discharge electrode 7 and a dust collecting electrode 8 is connected to the positive output terminal of said rectifier bridge 2 through an inductance 5. In addition, a switching element 3 earthed at one terminal thereof is connected to the output terminal of rectifier bridge 2. By this circuit constitution, a DC component applied to the dust collector can be arbitrarily controlled without using a charge accumulation condenser or a diode in inverse parallel relation to the switching element.
