<p>The "on" switch is for the self-starter of an internal combustion engine and is used to actuate the throw-on switch for the Bendix-driving gear. A control element (14), belonging to the actuator for the self-starter, is located on the shaft (15). A function unit operates the motor and control-element, and returns them to the start position after each start-pulse. A specially curved control disc (14) is fixed on the shaft (15) of the switch-motor (16). A reversible auxiliary switch (24) maintains reliable operation of the motor and control disc (14) and controls the current supply of the self-starter motor. An axial adjustable actuator-pin (8) has a roller (13), which, in the working mode, is held under spring-tension in a position on the profile line of the control disc (14). The actuator pin (8) has an extended section, which is used to operate the reversible switch (24). The actuator pin (8) is connected with a take-off blade of the throw-on switch.</p> |
