An intermediate stationary member is provided with peripherally disposed and axially inclined melt supplying duct between which extend radial cooling air supply and exhaust ducts connected to concentric supply and exhaust ducts. Between the stationary member and the annular extrusion head is disposed a rotary intermediate ring which is inter-connected with the head and defines and annular melt flow duct which is interrupted by interconnecting webs. Mfg. costs are reduced and quality of tubular foils is improved.
