The invention relates to an air-conditioning apparatus having two regions which are separated from one another such that they are proof against the air flow, an evaporator (2) being provided, through which the air which is to be cooled flows from a cabinet having electrical or electronic parts. The condensed water precipitating from the air passes into a water collection device and from there, according to the main patent, into the second region, preferably to the fan of the second region.
