<p>DL-phenyl glycine is optically resolved by incorporating D-camphor sulphonic acid or its alkali salt in molar excess of 0.4-0.7, with the DL-phenyl glycine or its salt, in order to form selectively the D-phenyl glycine salt. By using D-camphor sulphonic acid in equi-molecular amount to the D-phenyl glycine, the D-phenyl glycine D-camphor sulphonic acid salt obtained can be isolated.</p> |
