The air outlet is fitted beneath the seat surface of the chair or armchair and consists of a fresh air inlet inserted in the double floor and having arranged in it a displacement body, e.g. swirl vanes with a central disc. The lower, narrower end of a hollow conical frustum, which ends at the top under the seat surface, opens out over the disc, so that room air can flow in here. The room air is sucked out by the reduced pressure arising above the disc and is mixed with the fresh air. The mixed air then emerges radially through an outlet body, e.g. a wire basket, surrounding the conical frustum.
