PURPOSE:To obtain a color hard copy free from misregistration between each of colors, by using a drum having a stiff surface and an image-receiving paper consisting of a synthetic paper. CONSTITUTION:Since the surface of the drum 10 is stiff, it is not deformed even by a pressing force of a head 5, so that no misregistration of an image is generated from an elstic deformation of the surface of the drum 10. In addition, since irregularity in the thickness of a synthetic paper formed from polypropylene is not larger than 1mum for the paper having a thickness of 80-160mum, this irregularity does not produce any adverse effect on the contact between the transfer paper and the head and between the transfer paper and the image- receiving paper at the time of pressing the head. Further, the ruggedness of the surface of the head can be easily reduced to about 5mum/10mm., so that the ruggedness can be sufficiently absorbed by a compression quantity of about 8mum of the synthetic paper. Accordingly, a color hard copy free from misregistration between each of colors can be obtained. |
