<p>A combination microwave and electric heater oven includes a cassette tape player system for reproducing a digital data from a magnetic cassette tape. The digital data include cooking constants for various cooking operations. A gas sensor is disposed in the oven for detecting a concentration of reducing gas generated from a foodstuff being cooked. A digital control system calculates a reference level through the use of the cooking constant and compares the thus-obtained reference level with a detection output derived from the gas sensor for developing a cooking termination control signal when the detection output reaches the reference level.</p> |
