<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of picture quality by performing printing equivalent to just a preceding one line if the pitch between lines in the subscanning direction is larger than the prescribed value owing to the shrinkage of the heat-sensitive recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensitive recorder contains a recording head and a back roll at both ends of a heat-sensitive recording medium. If the recording information on the next line is not supplied although a prescribed period of time elapses after the recording is through with one line, a timer resetting signal (i) is delayed. Then a timer 18 is counted up, and an FF19 is set by a setting signal (j). An address signal is supplied to an ROM16 by the Q output of the FF19, and the ROM16 supplies again a print signal (f) to a latch circuit 17 to hold this circuit 17. The circuit 17 transmits the signal (f) again and applies again the heat- sensitive recording to the printing of the preceding line.</p> |
