Attachment for attaching a boom 1 to a mast 2 on a windsurfer, the boom 1 extending out from the mast 2 and holding a sail 3 out from the mast 2 and comprising a front mounting 4 which is located in front of the mast 2 opposite the extent of the boom 1, the front mounting 4 comprising an attachment means 10 which is connected to the mast 2, by means of which the tensile force in the sail 3 is transmitted to the front fitting 4, and which consists of a U- piece provided with at least one leg 11 which is arranged so as completely or partly to surround the mast 2 and also provided with a rotation spindle 12 which is arranged rotatably in the front mounting 4, by virtue of which the U-piece 10 can be guided to the side of the boom 1 so that the mast 2 can be freed. The rotation spindle 12 of the U-piece 10 is preferably rotatable about a fastening means 13 which is forcedly displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the boom 1.<IMAGE> |
