PURPOSE:To obtain a transmitter and receiver with a simple constitution by using a series-parallel conversion part for data and a data latch part in common for both transmission and reception. CONSTITUTION:A timing generation part 55 generates a predetermined number of timing signals F every time a synchronizing signal generation part 54 generates a synchronizing signal FS during transmission, and data is set from the data latch part 64 to the series-parallel conversion part 59 by the timing signals F. Further, the data is read out successively as serial data, whose binary state is converted by a data form generation part 73 to pulse width, so that the converted signal is sent out following a pulse width signal indicating the synchronizing signal. The synchronizing signal is detected by a synchronizing detection part 81 during reception to fetch receive data for a specific period. The receive data is detected by a data length check part 84, inputted successively to a conversion part 59 by the signal of a timing generation part 83, and further latched by a latch part 64 in parallel. |
