METHOD OF DISTRIBUTED STATISTIC PROCESSING IN COMPUTER SYSTEM OF HIERARCHICAL STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To enable asynchronous processing by holding the result of execution of statistic processing at fixed period in each low-order computer and transmitting after adding statistic processing time according to request for transmission of statistic processing data from a high-order computer. CONSTITUTION:Each low-order computer executes statistic processing 8 basing on data of an input data buffer 7 in which data collected from objective process are stored, and stores the result in a statistic processing data buffer 9. Processed data of the statistic processing data buffer 9 are sent to the high-order computer by data transmission processing 10 when transmission is requested from the high- order computer. The high-order computer sends request for transmission of statistic processing data to each low-order computer and stores the statistic processing data received from each equipment in a received data buffer 17. In a distribution register processing 18, data of received data buffer are transferred to corresponding area of a statistic processing received data file 19 according to sending equipment 20 and statistic processing time 21.
