<p>PURPOSE:To reliably electrically ground a storing unit to an apparatus body simultaneously with the operation of installing the storing unit to the apparatus body by providing engaging members of the apparatus body and the storing unit with conductive contacts, respectively, which contact each other at the time of engagement. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette 20 is installed on a copier body 1, with engaging projections 22 thereof fitted in engaging grooves of guide blocks 2, 3 of the copier body 1, the engaging projection 22 is pressed by a spring 4 of the guide block 3, so that the outside surface of the opposite engaging projection 1 and the inner surface of the guide block 2 are brought into contact with each other to locate the cassette 20. Thus, the cassette 20 is supported at a predetermined position of the copier 1. Simultaneously, the head portion of a conductive screw 23 of the cassette contacts the spring 4, so that inner members 25, 26, 27 in the cassette 20 are grounded to a metallic portion 8 of the copier body through conductive wires 51, 52, 53, the screw 23, the spring 4, a screw 5 and a conductive wire 7.</p> |
