A sound-absorbing sheet (1) consists of a fibre-containing absorption layer (3) reinforced by means of a supporting sheet (2). In order to reduce the manufacturing complexity and simplify fastening, the supporting sheet (2) is disposed only on one base surface of the absorption layer (3) and projects beyond this at at least two mutually opposing side surfaces to form a fastening strip (4) free of absorption material (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
