SYSTEM FOR SATELLITE COMMUNICATION ELIMINATING DISTURBANCE OF SUN

PURPOSE:To avoid the interruption of a line by providing plural stationary satellites and plural earth stations capable of uninterruptible switching of a line in one service area and setting the line by the other earth station in the same service area when the line is interrupted because of the disturbance of the sun. CONSTITUTION:A site diversity station 4 of an area A and a site diversity station 7 of an area B direct the main beam in the direction of a spare satelite 2 to operate the spare satellite 2 until several tens of minutes before the generation of solar disturbance is estimated. The line of main earth station 3-satellite 1-main earth station 6 is switched momentarily to the line of side diversity station 4-satellite 2-site diversity station 7 several minutes before the solar disturbance takes place. Thus, the solar disturbance is avoided only by changing the use of the conventional site diversity station.
