PURPOSE:To permit to prevent the compressor from deterioration upon the abnormality such as the shortage of refrigerant or the like by a method wherein the operation of the compressor is stopped forcibly in case a predetermined number of operation and stop of the compressor is repeated. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with first switch 6, which intercepts the conduction of a solenoid clutch 3 when the temperature of the compressor 5 is higher than a set value and stops the compressor 5, and second switch 9b, connected in series to the first switch 6, is put OFF when the first switch 6 has repeated a set number of ON, OFF, therefore, the compressor 5 will never be operated even when the first switch 6 is put ON again. Accordingly, the compressor 5 may be prevented from the deterioration thereof due to the repeat of operation and stop of the compressor 5 upon the abnormality such as the shortage of refrigerant or the like. |
