PURPOSE:To improve the fidelity of an inverted output waveform by making the ratios of channel width to length L of MOS transistors (TRs) connected in series unequal and selecting the input/output voltage converting ratio as -1 to bring the operating region of the TRs to an exponential function region. CONSTITUTION:The two MOS TRs 31, 32 are connected in series, an input signal is applied to a gate of the TR31, an independent gate voltage is applied to the TR32 and an output signal Vout is outputted from a connecting point of the TRs 31, 32. The ratio W/L of the channel width W to the channel length L of the TRs 31, 32 is not made equal to each other and the input/output voltage converting ratio deltaVout/deltaVin is brought to -1. Then, the operating region of the TRs 31, 32 is not set as the square region but the exponential function region and when the input voltage waveform is outputted with inversion, the output waveform is outputted with fidelity. |
