PURPOSE:To remove nontheoretical harmonic waves included in an output voltage by providing a device for limiting a current flowed to a shortcircuiting arm occurred due to the turn OFF delay time of a switching element between a DC power source and an inverter. CONSTITUTION:A current limiter 4 formed of current limiting reactors LP, LN, flywheel diodes DPX, DNX and reactor shortcircuiting transistors TPX, TNX is connected to positive and negative current circuits between a DC power source 2 and a self-excited inverter 1 having a transistor and flywheel diode connected in parallel with the transistor. A current flowed to the shortcircuiting arm is limited at the arm shortcircuiting time produced due to the turn OFF delay time of the transistor. Accordingly, since the presence of the underfine time can be eliminated by the output voltage in the controllng stage of preventing the arm shortcircuit, nontheoretical harmonic wave included in the output can be eliminated. |
