The present invention relates to a directional control valve for a pneumatic jack intended particularly for handling and lifting vehicles. Directional control valve characterised in that it essentially consists of a body 1 which can be fixed like a flange to the pneumatic handling device 2 to be controlled, of two control slide valves 3-4, each fitted with a head 3%-4% forming a push button, this head being flush in the rest position with the front face of the body 1, of an adjustable pressure-limiting valve 5, and of a device 6 for locking the slide valves 3-4 in the rest position. <IMAGE>
