PURPOSE:To reduce the sliding sound of tape squeaking in a magnetic head by adding a foaming agent in the resin part of a fixing material exposed or approached to the sliding surface of a recording body such as a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:A fixing material 2A is fed into a shielding case 1 in order to fix a magnetic head blank body 3 housed in the case 1. When the magnetic head in which the material 2A is fed is heated to 120-130 deg.C, many pieces of foam are generated in the material 2A by the effect of a foaming agent and the foamed material 2A is hardened by the effect of a hardener after the foaming. The foaming agent is added further according to need and an org. lubricating agent is impregnated on the sliding surface of the hardened magnetic head to provided porosity and lubricity in combination. Thus, the contamination of the sliding part owing to the deposition of dust, etc. thereon is prevented and tape squeaking is decreased. |
