The invention relates to a prefabricated wooden framework. This invention relates more particularly to a framework consisting of longitudinal members 1, 5, some of which have a longitudinal groove 6 in which there is engaged a tenon 3 belonging to a contiguous longitudinal member 1 and two thin strips 8 and 9 which between them define a mortice 4 intended to receive the tenon. According to the invention, contact between the thin strip 8 and the lateral faces 10 and 11 of the groove 6 is localised in the vicinity of the opening of the groove 6, and the lateral faces of the thin strip have means for guiding the thin strip during its insertion in the groove 6. <IMAGE>
