PURPOSE:To improve durability of lateral reciprocal engine, by providing a piston guide except at the seal section between piston.cylinder thereby preventing single contact between piston and cylinder, and sealing member and cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The piston 7 of a lateral reciprocal engine to be used as an expander is provided with a low temperature side piston ring 13 and a normal temperature side piston ring 3. Furthermore a Teflon guide 5 applied with tension through a waved springboard 12 is provided in the proximity of the low temperature side piston ring 13. |
