摘要 In the case of vacuum switches, especially for high continuous and short-circuit currents, the following problems, inter alia, exist: a) switching element heating in the vacuum and heat dissipation from the vacuum, b) electrodynamic repulsion of the switching elements, c) high contact pressure - contact welding - particle formation, d) high contact pressure - increased drive energy. The following design measures are used to solve these problems: Outer switching elements (25, 27) are arranged parallel to the inner switching elements (6, 7) of the vacuum switch housing (15), in order to relieve the stress on the said inner switching elements (6, 7). At the same time, a special coupling device (30, 31, 33, 36) ensures that the inner switching elements always close first during switching on and that the outer switching elements always open first during switching off. In the switched-off state, the insulating space between the outer switching elements has at least the same dielectric strength as the insulating space between the inner switching elements, which enables mutually independent switching element stroke movements. As a result of these measures according to the invention, the vacuum switch becomes a completely conventional switch, but having excellent switching properties. <IMAGE>
