Electric household appliance for the mechanical preparation of foods, comprising a rotary cylindrical vessel (15) within which is interchangeably mounted at least one cutting member (16, 22) adapted in particular for chopping, cutting, shredding, grating or mixing foods, and a driving motor (3) placed in the immediate proximity of the food-processing zone, characterized in that the vessel (15) has a detachable bottom wall (14, 20a) and food-impelling means (11, 21) rigidly fixed to the internal wall (8) or bottom wall (20a) of the vessel (15) and projecting towards the interior of this vessel and that the cutting member (16, 22) is joined to the detachable bottom wall (14, 20a) so as to constitute a detachable unit with this latter, means (28) being provided for maintaining this cutting member in a stationary position at the time of utilization of the appliance.</p> |
