Title compds.(I; R1=alkyl, aryl, or hetaryl; R2 and R3=H or alkyl, or R1R2N= hetero- cyclyl) were prepd. as antiarrhythmial and antihypertensive agents. Thus. 1-nicoti-noyl -8-≮2,3-ethoxy-prop-1-oxy≉-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquionoline was esterified with epichloro- hydrin, then treated with isopropylamine to give 1-nicotinoyl-8-≮3-isopropylamino- -2-hydroxypropoxy≉-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline(II), then II was reacted with naph- thalene-1,5-disulfonic acid to give 1-nicotinoyl-8-≮(3-isopropylamino)-2-hydroxy-pro- poxy≉-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro quinoline naphtalene-1,5-disulfonate.
