PURPOSE:To form a skid having a plural stiffening grooved parts by pressing first a central grooved part and pressing successively grooved parts at both sides in forming a skid for transportation having parallel stiffening grooved parts. CONSTITUTION:A grooved part 9a to be formed in a metallic plate 9 placed at the prescribed position on a press die, is formed between a moving punch 3 and a moving die 7 on shafts 8 supported by hydraulic pressure by lowering the punch 3 energized by springs 4. When an upper die is further lowered, the plate 9 is brought into contact with a fixed punch 1 in a state that the central part of plate 9 is intensely pressed and restricted, and grooved parts 9b are formed between a fixed die 5 and the punch 1. Thus the plate 9 is prevented from receiving an unreasonable force, and the breakage of it and the generation of wrinkles, etc. are also prevented; in this way a high-quality skid can be formed. |
