PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of an electrophotographic copying machine etc. by dividing a photosensitive body and a developing roller into copying domain and toner selecting domain and selecting toner suitable for reusing by toner selecting function of the toner selecting domain. CONSTITUTION:Toner remaining on the surface of the copying domain 2 of the photosensitive body 1 after transferring is recovered by scraping with a blade 18 in the copying domain recovering section 16 of a cleaning device 15 and carried to the toner selecting domain of the toner box of a developing device 6 from a discharge port 20. When the toner is charged electrostatically by mixing carrier and attracted to a developing roller 10, pieces and powder of paper do not attracted to the developing roller as they are not charged. Accordingly, the toner selecting domain 3 of the photosensitive body 1 develops only toner that is suitable for reusing, and scrapes the toner with a blade 19 of the toner selecting domain 17 of the cleaning device 15. The toner is put into the copying domain 7 of toner box of the developing device and reused for developing. Thus, the structure can be simplified. |
