PURPOSE:To perform balancing highly accurately and highly efficiently, by computing estimated residual vibration based on the designation of a correcting surface and the corrected amount of balance, composing residual vibration vectors in the correcting surface, and displaying the resultant value. CONSTITUTION:Vibrations of bearings 41-46 of turbine 1 and 2 and a generator 3 are detected by sensors 61-66. Only the vibration components due to unbalance are extracted through an amplifier 6A and a vibration analyzer 7 and judged by a judging device 8. When the result exceeds a specified value, an operator 13 is actuated. Based on the designation of a vibrating surface and a correcting amount from a keyboard 12, an estimated residual vibration, then the residual vibration vector of each correcting surface, and then a composite vector are computed. The composite residual vibration vector is displayed on a display device 14. When balancing is performed with the display being observed, the balancing is performed highly accurately and highly efficiently without the designation of unnecessary vibrating surfaces and the like. |
