PURPOSE:To detect an index signal of a color TV camera without processing a signal electode by iradiating a scanning part with a single color light of a prescribed illuminance during vertical blanking period of a stripe filter face of a target. CONSTITUTION:A target face I of a target 10 of a color picture tube 13 is illuminated by a green light only by a lighting device 12. When scanning the target along X-X', the scanning output of the stripe filter is separated by a pulse corresponding to parts 4', 4''. A color carrier of green light obtained at a G filter, represents the linearity of the pulse interval which is horizontally deflected when the pitch of the stripe filter 3 is constant. An error signal is generated in response to the change in the pulse interval and the index pulse of the index pulse generator is FM-modulated and inputted to a synchronous detecting circuit, where chrominance signals are separated. |
