PURPOSE:To control the brake pressure so as to be at the optimum level at all times by changing the times for releasing the brake or holding it constant specified on the basis of No.2 decelerative signal generated when the wheel deceleration has exceeded the reference value for No.2 deceleration which is higher than No.1 deceleration reference value. CONSTITUTION:When the wheel deceleration of a brake time differential device 5 has exceeded No.1 deceleration reference value, No.1 deceleration signal generator 6 emits No.1 deceleration signal. An exhaust valve solenoid 25 is energized during No.1 specific period determined by No.1 ON delay timer 13, to cause drop of the brake pressure and thereafter, i.e. during No.2 specific period determined by No.2 ON delay timer 15, the brake pressure is held constant. If, however, the deceleration exceeds No.2 deceleration reference value within No.1 specific period, No.2 deceleration signal generator 7 emits No.2 deceleration signal. After passage of No.3 specific period determined by No.3 ON delay timer 14, said solenoid 25 is put out of energization, and the brake pressure is held constant. Then after passage of No.4 specific period determined by No.4 ON delay timer 16, the brake pressure drops again. |
