PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of any damage to a light emitting tube due to thermal expansion, by constituting both of a supporting plate for the light emitting tube and a metal stay holding this supporting plate so as to move freely along the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A sealing end flat part of a light emitting tube 1 is nippingly supported by a metal supporting plate 3, while a portion abutting on the supporting plate 3 is adjusted to thickness of the stay 2 and a circular worked part 11' or 11'' is installed in place in advance whereby the said portion is made up so as to freely movable between the stay 2 and the circular worked part 11' (or 11''). With suchlike constitution, such force as being imposed on the light emitting tube 1 or every welded part due to elongative variance by a difference in a coefficient of thermal expansion between the light emitting tube 1 and the stay 2 is removed, so that any damage to the tube 1 or every welded part is prevented. |
