PURPOSE:To save labor required for setting processing conditions and to prevent erroneous setting of the processing conditions by a method wherein designated conditions regarding an electrode and a work are inputted to a CPU so that the processing conditions are set automatically. CONSTITUTION:When the quality of a work, a material of which the electrode is made, the diameter of the electrode wire, the roughness of a processing surface of the work and the thickness of the work are inputted to the CPU from a keyboard 3, the processing conditions corrsponding to the designated conditions stored in a memory 2 in advance are set on a control device 2a automatically and the processing is started according to processing data recorded on a tape. |
