The invention relates to a heel hold-down of a ski binding, having a guide plate which is guided on a guide rail and on which a bearing block is arranged. On the inside of a transverse wall of the bearing block, the latter bears engagement cams. Supported in its side walls is an axle on which a spring housing and a sole hold-down with a tread bar are mounted. Arranged on the axle is a leg spring which forces the said parts into the upper position. A control part and a release lever are linked to the binding housing. According to the invention, this heel holder is to be constructed in such a way that it is simple in construction and reliable in its function and has a large range of elasticity and little putting-on force. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the control part and the release lever are guided on a common axle in curved slots in the bearing block, and the release lever bears a bolt which passes through an elongate hole in an extension of the spring housing. |
