PURPOSE:To input a character data string rapidly and to improve the efficiency of conversion processing by changing KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character) conversion algorithm by inputting a prescribed command. CONSTITUTION:An ROM stores processing programs PG1-PG12 corresponding to the conversion commands of KANA/KANJI conversion algorithm. A KPARAM built in an RAM is a KANA/KANJI conversion algorithm specifying register indicating the kinds of the KANA/KANJI conversion algorithm and stores the parameters of the KANA/KANJI conversion algorithm converting commands. When a command is inputted from a keyboard KB, the processing program in the ROM is read out by the specification of the KPARAM. Since the KANA/KANJI algorithm can be optionally selected, the character data string can be inputted rapidly and the efficiency of the conversion processing can be improved. |
